It's with great pride that I return to the under-fuckin'-ground dwellings of DRCHUD.com! I mean What time could be more fitting? We are 13 days away from Halloween...every neighbor's doorstep and store window are displaying what WE see in our heads all year...those bueatifully horid faces of burning witches, the stiches of Frankenstein's Monster bleeding bright under a neon glow...pumpkin's carved with the most SARDONIC grins tat glow through the night... this is our time of year...lemme' say it again...OUR TIME OF YEAR... York Islands for the past 8 years Right off the 'bats'; What you knew as Gorgeous Frankenstein is no more, it's a new band, a new sound and only logical that they have a new name...that name is simply DOYLE. It won't be long now before the new record ABOMINATOR drops in 2013. I tell you now, p lan on it being the new soundtrack to your fucked up life, I officially go on record as saying that this is the heaviest shit you have EVER heard from the Doc and Doyle...fucked up times call for a heavy f'n record and these guys deliver...hold onto your face. Collectors beware: DOC'S ORDERLY'S were on hand for the recording of ABOMIATOR...18 tracks were recorded for ABOMINATOR and the orderly's have made sure to catalog each stick broken durring the recording process, noting which song they were broken on, labeled and signed by CHUD himself. 18 tracks and 18 broken sticks...remnants of an abomination...don't be a fuck up, get 'em while the gettin' is good. Each broken stick comes with a letter of authenticity, signed in blood by the Doc for all to see! Back in 1999/2000 while The Misfits were performing in Denver, CO, DRCHUD's legendary bone jacket was stolen right from the backstage area where it was THOUGHT to be safe with friends, bandmates and roadies. Well turns out a band who we gratiosly gave an oppertuinity to open for us giving them a chance to step up on the ladder of oppertunity desided it was a cool idea to steal the one and only hand made bone jacket that DRCHUD was famous for wearing...an extremely peed off CHUD looked hours for it after the show with no avail...life went on wondering what kind of low-life would do such a thing...well mystery has been solved! We know who do it, Dave Hause. 
When asked about it all CHUD would say is "It's unfortunate someone would do such a thing especially when your backstage and you would think that if anyone had your back, it would be a roadie or another band! After all if you cant trust them backstage who can you trust? AND after i was shown the video he posted on you tube admiting it proudly, the fact after so much time gone by you would think the guy was apologetic about it saying like maybe he was just young and stupid but to go on you tube and brag about it when your grown up just shows his charecter and proves he is never to be trusted by anyone! especially any band or entertainment people, just keep this dude away from your shit!" AUGUST 13th, 2009 LES PAUL - (June 9, 1915 – August 13, 2009)  IT's hard to start to describe to all of you reading this what this man meant and was to the music industry, all that comes to my mind at the moment is MASSIVE and GENIUS, i'm sure if you google his name and start reading what this man did in his lifetime...well it would blow you away for hours. I first met Les in 1984 through a good friend named carl farruggia. I worked with Les for most of the summer helping him with his new studio he was building in his 29 room house in Mahway, NJ. I would make my trek up to his house around 10:30pm every night, he never woke up before 11pm to avoid all the distractions that came with daytime hours most notably the telephone. He was very focused on his work ...he was a tinkerer,storyteller,musician. I remember the first time i walked into his house and i almost bumped into this round boxy thingy that resembled a record player, i asked him "what's that?" he told me..oh that's the first record lathe! continuing into the living room my eyes fixed on a huge thingamajig, i asked him what the hell is that?...oh that's the first multi tracking machine! It was endless, one day he even showed me plans for a WORKING cymbal microphone!, even to this day nobody has made one!! He was always inventing and playing his guitar. When people use to ask me what was his house like all i could say was...."imagine being in a giant T.V. set" this was before all his inventions went into the museums. When i first told my mother that i was working with him she told me that LES PAUL and MARY FORD was the first concert she ever went to, she said she played hooky that day at school. The next night i introduced her to him backstage at the venue he was playing. Well i can go on forever about my time with Les, he was an amazing loving caring man. I'm gonna end with my favorite memory of him. Every night at 4am we would take a break from whatever we were working on and he would make popcorn for me and carl, we would sit at the kitchen table and every night he would tell us a story or two, and boy what great stories they were. I WILL MISS YOU LES.....I WILL MAKE SURE YOUR STORIES LIVE ON! R.I.P. JULY 13th, 2009 2009 BLITZKID TOUR PHOTOS POSTED! July 13th, 2008 DR. CHUD SIGNS ENDORSEMENT DEALS WITH PAISTE, REMO and SPAUN DRUMS! I’ve been using PAISTE my whole life. My PAISTE rude ride cymbal I’ve use on every recording I’ve ever done, over 30 albums, from the BAYONNE BRIDGEMEN DAYS to my SOLO RECORDINGS, I don’t record without it, thanks to Wayne Wilburn from PAISTE there now making me a custom one of a kind s et of BLACK cymbals that should be ready by Halloween time, they will meet all my specs, I will also be using a 40” gong by then which I haven’t used in 10 years. LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL! I’d like to thank Mark Kimbrell at SPAUN drum co. for making my custom green monster drum kit. Make sure you go to their website to checkout there amazing drums they make.
